This is so apropos for me today. Lately I have been contemplating what it means to walk the path of love and how to return to “being” the version of me I most love. A version I can be proud of. All the games and endless negotiating in the work world…outrage over politics, over healthcare costs, over climate change…everything that clamors for my attention and make me want to hide or be done with this world all together…although I am quite certain my survival instincts would have me to anything I could to keep breathing 🙂 I feel myself turning back, searching to once again know, in that deep place of knowing, the Truth that has always sustained me – All is Well – I am not a body, I am free, for I am still as God created me. Relieve me of the burden of self this day Dear God…that I may rest in your peace.

I can resonate with your thoughts. It seems almost like a dance, where one moment, one hour, one day we are in perfect synch with the flow of the Universe and the next we notice ourselves falling back to our default position (forgetfulness). I think the key to rapidly returning to the coordination, to the connection, is in not judging ourselves when we find we have been running on our autonomic or reactive mindset. I find it helpful to laugh at myself, for falling out of step. Life is much too short to take so seriously. Laughter is so beneficial. Thank you for your note. I love you.
